65About my silly poem!
I have this yearning to go back to writing poetry. I find that the more I write articles is the less naturally creative I become. Writing poetry come from a particular mindset and my mind has been so engrossed with being a good article creator that the side of me that made me who I am, the story teller and poet has been slowly going to sleep. I wish to awaken me. So this is my test to see if I still got some juice left! Yikes, it's so silly, isn't it?

I want to be trapped in you net, your snare
Encapsulated in your strong arms, never to be set free
While I swim in the ocean of my emotions
You to ravage my mind as you pierce my heart with your smile
Your gorgeous face I do see before me
Your beautiful words wash over me like warm rain
Your smile wraps its warmth around me like the sun.
I am captivated by you
Oh my sweet wonderful friend
We certainly share a bond that goes beyond the virtual world
My eyes shine like stars when I see you
My heart beats faster beneath my breast
I am enchanted by you
You hold me captive....yes you!

You did no go too far away Cardisa . But every now and again life will look up and check up on those called it's children and as children in such vast a space where mind and body can play far away knowing they are still home under the watchful eyes of life! Nothing silly here. So upupup and interesting.

Great, Cardisa. Creative writing is necessary to the soul, and even if you decide that you do not want to publish poetry or short stories on this particular site anymore, do keep it up. Publish it somewhere else. Write it for clients, for yourself. But keep writing it.

Up and across, I always have to give you what you deserve. I know how you feel, when we go without our poetry it is something missing. I have two new ones I so want to put out there but I send off collections ever so often to make sure they are protected (cheaper that way) and not getting another out until February. I have some safe ones, maybe I will dig through them. I have been running around for two days not worrying about nothing. Feels good.

I believe poem cannot be silly. Poems of the Great Poet Laureate of Nepal is read form grade one to the Masters' level. Of course sometimes we write poems when we are feeling silly.
Having said this I find your poetry with profound depth.

Hmm, well I don't keep a notebook, maybe that was someone else or I could have lost ones in folders on desktop, my husband is always onto me about that mess, especially with the one we share. You have never really left, poetry remains in your soul forever. It comes out like the ocean tides, we feel it's pulse in our hearts and at the right time words flow like melting snow falling to the ground.
