Bubblews Review Before And After

After the buzz and the hype I decided to join Bubblews. I saw quite a number of hubs written and forums posted about this new venture where I could easily earn money by posting 200 words per day, or something, and being broke, I thought I could earn quick cash.

I quickly followed a link posted on a hub but got an error when I tried to sign up. I gave up. Then I saw another forum post about it and numerous links on my FB feed so I decided to give it another try. I signed up and thought, "okay, lets make a little extra money."

They say first impressions last and I think that's about right. I like pretty things and it's no different with websites. I believe that a web page I publish on whether it be my own or a content site like HP, it needs to be attractive. In my opinion Bubblews is not.

I actually don't know what to compare Bubblews content pages to. It's not like anything I've ever seen but it doesn't seem like a place I would like to get information. It makes me wonder if readers actually see articles on Bubbles as an authority for the information they seek.

Though at the time, I hadn't created any articles yet, I wasn't sure I wanted to continue. Another impression was that it didn't seem as if I could place links within my content. It also seemed to lack a text editor which is very important for formatting your content. The fact that there is no text editor means no grammar checker as well.

I have never rushed anything especially writing on any site. It took me a long time to write anything serious on HP. I have only two articles on Squidoo and one on InfoBarrel. I like to take my time to know about the site before I place any confidence in it and it took me a long time to place any content there.

But what came as a big surprise to me was that recognized writers on HP were the ones going all gong-ho about Bubblews. It surprised me because upon further inspection of the site I found it full of crap.

Most of the members are not writers, they are social networkers and have no idea how to create an article for profit. They write crap and get paid for it. This led me to wonder how long this hype will last.

Because of the fact that many of the people on Bubblews are not real writers they may feel pressured into getting quality material to post as their own. This will ultimately lead to either purchasing work or scraping content.

Though I am a freelancer who write articles for clients, I cannot place these people I write for in the same class as myself. The fact that you have to contract out what you publish is proof that you cannot write.

When you have good articles online you run the risk of them being stolen and it has started to happen with Bubblews. I was emailed by a hubber who found my article word for word on the site. I was not surprised as I was in the process of inspecting articles to see what people publish there.

I must give kudos to Bubblews staff for removing my content after I emailed them telling them of my lost revenue and threatening to file a DMCA complaint with their hosting provider and the search engines which serve their site. My article was removed ASAP.

To be honest, I was broke and I needed cash fast but was Bubblews worth the time and effort?

One can almost always tell when something is a fluke and when it is real. At the rate at which Google is going and their idea of quality content I doubt that Bubblews will last unless they change their terms of publishing and become a full content site which monitors publishers and content alike.

I honestly do not believe it is worth my time or effort to publish on the site. Not at the moment anyway. Should they become a real content site which monitors content for plagiarism and manages publishers more closely, then maybe I will give it a try.

For now Bubblews is just a social network which earns you money. Beware members, the site may be Google slapped real soon.

I decided to write this hub on a whim. It was solely to give my honest opinion but by the time I reached the end it sounded like a review. Well maybe it is.

My final opinion is that Bubblews may thrive while it's hot but given a few months, if things don't change, they will get penalized by the internet boss, Google.

The owners need to decide what exactly the site is about and focus on building that. Are they creating a content site with serious publishers or are they looking to build a revenue sharing social network? The sooner they decide the better things will get.

After some deliberation with a few friends I decided to give Bubblews one more try. The consensus was not to think of the Bubbles as a content site but rather what it is...a social network.

I went back and created a few posts; twelve to be exact but I don't have time to post frequently at the moment. As soon as I reach payout I will post another update.

Note: This is just an experiment because I have seen more negative reviews online than positives about the site. Many people complained that their accounts were cancelled just before payout so I am watching to see what happens. I really need to get that new phone!
