Very informative hub. Thanks.
I think I'm doing not too bad. The only things that I have never eaten on your list of 10 would be raw tofu (have never had it raw or cooked) and snapper.
When I was young my mother would always tell me that eating fish will make me smarter. I guess she was right! hahaa good hub.
I do eat a lot of stuff on your list but I didn't know the nutritional value! I love seafood, fish, vegetables. I can get flax seed....I just didn't know what itmwas for! Thanks!
Hi Cardisa! Thanks for sharing a really important hub. I am going to add more flaxseed to my diet. I do pretty well on the other stuff. Voted up, up and away!
Thank's Cardisa. I should be brainy cos i eat most of the items you listed except the flax seed. Thank's again...
Great article,I love eating sea foods.
great information on your hub Cardisa, now i know what foods i must eat more. thanks for sharing
OMG! No wonder I have memory lapses. :) Seriously, I'm printing your list and going to the store. Great hub with excellent info. I like how you detailed the calories and the % of Omega 3.
I have to laugh. several of these things I don't like to eat. A couple I've never tried. And I think Amy might prefer not to share them if they were in the kitchen.
Cardisa - as luck would have it, we went out to dinner last night for my husband's birthday and the first thing they put on the table was edamame. That was followed by a shrimp salad appetizer. The entree was salmon. There was a pumpkin white chocolate something for dessert but I chose the chocolate souffle. Needless to say, I felt like you were at dinner with us!
..actually before I make cyber love with you - I have to say this is such an essential hub subject and will be posted to my FACEBOOK page with a direct link back here - now back to the good stuff - lol - Miss C you have awakened the born again virginity in me - thank you for making me feel like a man again - no kidding I say - and of course sustaining me too with this wonderful diet.
lake erie time 8:19am home after night shift but I would love to spend day shift with you
Cardisa--I love and hate some of this stuff! Love salmon, scallops, and shrimp. Can't stand sardines and tofu. Walnuts are okay. I bought some flax but need to remember to use it! Is it okay if I supplement with my fish oil pills? :-) Great hub. Nice reminder. I know it's better to get Omegas naturally through food.
Awesome list Cardisa! I always skip over the flax seed, as always very informative article. I must ask what is an ovo-vegetarian? Got me scratching my head on that one? Also the lacto-ovo these are new terms for me. Thank you!
That's good information, I love walnuts and shrimp so that won't be hard for me to include!
Cool I scored ten out of ten..ok 9 :0( have not had snapper for a while...:0)
Have been eating just fruits and veggies with fish these ten months and really feel the difference...besides losing a lot of unnecessary weight... mentally I,m in great shape...great Hub!!
Mike :0)
I have seen other information with regards to that but I thought it was mainly fish. It is good to know we can get it from other sources as well. You have opened my eyes once again.
Thanks for the information.
You did your research. Well done.
I'm destined to be dumb........outside of an occasional walnut and few fried shrimp.......I suppose it is time for me to up my game and start eating right...I fail at this miserably.
I appreciate this kind of hub, and it keeps chipping away at me to start in.
As always, a good hub by you Cardisa!
Chris
